Shopping and Fun under the Summer Sun! The annual Do-Division Street Fest & Sidewalk Sale rings in Summer Fest Season for a 7th consecutive year Friday, May 31st through Sunday, June 2nd. The signature West Town event combines all the best elements of a great Chicago street fest: a rousing live music bill, local independent retailers and artisans, and exciting family fun. The 2013 Fest also features a new 'Do-Fashion' area - helping give the estimated 75,000-plus attendees a taste of what makes Division Street one of the hottest entertainment and cultural corridors in the Midwest! Where Is What? Street Fest: Division Street from Damen to Leavitt Family Fun Fest: Hoyne from Crystal to Potomac, and Crystal from Hoyne to Damen Do Fashion Fest: Hoyne from Division to Crystal Sidewalk Sale: Division Street from Damen to Ashland (no street closure) The Music The music at Do-Division Street Fest features original bands - from cutting edge to national touring acts - and djs continuously on two stages from Friday to Sunday. Music critics and fans alike typically rate the lineup among the best of the music fest season - and it only cost a fraction of the ticket price as most of the others (a $5 suggested donation is asked for admittance). This year's live music announcement will be announced in mid-April. The two live music main stages are programmed by Empty Bottle Presents and Subterranean / House Call Entertainment. Also back are many of the popular activities including: The Easel Art Studio Craft Tent, punk rock hair styling by Psycho Baby, The Kids Table, face painting, the Children's Learning Place Toddler Zone, two bounce houses, mini-golf, pony rides, and Nail Boutique with mini manicures. Plus boogie on down at the Family Fun Fest stage!
